The climb starts from Machame gate (1830m), we walk via the lush lower slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Slowly gaining altitude even as enjoying the various vegetation and fauna of the rain forest, you'll arrive at the first Machame Camp, located at 3000m above sea degrees. Today we stroll on a gentle ascent and panoramic views. We traverse the southwest side of Kilimanjaro, passing beneath the Lava Tower and the final part of the Western Breach. After hot lunch at the lowest of the Lava Tower (4,600 m.), we descend to the lowest of the Great Barranco valley (3,950 m.).
